Description

A series of four competency-based courses applying ethical principles to medical practice, healthcare policy, and biomedical research. Through presentations, readings, and discussions of representative clinical cases coordinated with systems courses, student doctors practice moral reasoning skills and learn to answer board-style questions about ethical behaviors, assess the probity of ethical decisions, and care for patients, families, and communities with compassion and integrity. Graded pass/fail.
