Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine (RVUCOM) is offering a one week program designed to help students transition from undergraduate studies to life as a first year medical student. This pre-matriculation program, lasting from July 18th through July 22nd, is intended to enhance student study skills, test taking skills, and skills required in the reading of scientific articles and journals. The program will use materials centering on a brief introduction of basic concepts in molecular biology, biochemistry, and anatomy. If you have not had these courses, the material presented may help solidify some concepts within these disciplines, but lease note, the basic science materials presented are not meant to be a comprehensive course covering these topics. Rather, they will serve as a platform to enhance critical thinking, study skills, and reasoning necessary for high stakes examinations.
