Description
Pediatric Critical Care focuses on children from birth through the teen years who are critically ill and require careful monitoring in a pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). Treatment is generally provided for, but not restricted to, unable, life-threatening conditions, children on respirators, children with severe heart and lung disease, and children with brain trauma. Pre-requisite: Successful completion of all pre-clinical coursework and passing score on COMLEX Level 1.
